Manny, turned character
In his life on Earth, Manny, otherwise known as the Puppeteer, was something of a legend, a wandering soul, unaffected by the light or the dark, a man who, if one could just pay well enough, give him what he wanted most, might pick a side. With every passing day, the light and the dark chased Manny from town to town, leaving naught but desolate earth behind. After his closest ally fell to the hands of the warring foes, Manny charged, blinded by the puppeteer that is hate, against his soon to be victims. Upon the morn, no soul, enlightened or damned, was left to stand. Manny, they say, victorious yet grieving, fell to his death from exhaustion. They say in Purgatory there's a man who carries upon his back a marionette's controller; in his hand, a roped hook; in his heart, a black hate. They say he finally came to serve a man. A bad man. Love everything, the pose, the giant glove-claw hands, the contrast... Lovely lovely. -- All right. Have it your own way. Road to hell paved with unbought stuffed dogs. Not my fault. -Bill (The Sun Also Rises) Haha, thanks. The Puppeteer is one of my few main characters I have drawn, so any praise does stroke my ego.
